You should store your cake in the fridge until approx. 1-2hrs before you'd like to serve it.

Your cake is best eaten at room temperature, so depending on the weather you will need to adjust this timing accordingly.

Remember:
- your cake is not at it's best straight out of the fridge, it needs time.

- cakes do not like direct sunlight or heat (if butter would melt, so will your cake)

If you've left it to the last minute and can't order online, feel free to email us at hello@digbycakes.com.au. We will do our best to get back to you and hopefully fit you in! But cannot guarantee anything.

Your cake will be fresh for 5 days.
- please store your cake in the fridge
- please always serve at room temp

We do! We make a delicious GF chocolate cake and vegan chocolate cake (we'd love to offer more options but currently don't have capacity, sorry!) .

Please note that although all care is taken, we cannot guarantee 'no traces' of these allergens as our kitchen processes these most days.

The best way to transport your cake is either in the footwell of the front seat of your car, or in the boot on the flat.

Ps. Front seats of cars are tilted, so if you transport your cake there, you run the risk of the cake sliding (and if you break suddenly it could fall!)

Hot tip:
- take the corners slowly and don't break too suddenly.

If your order needs to be canceled:

48hrs + prior to collection / delivery: we will refund the payment made minus the admin fees below.
If we’ve already begun making your order, additional fees will be deducted based on how far into the process we are. 

Orders < $200 = $25 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Orders > $200 = $50 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Orders > $400 = $100 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.

Between 24-48hrs prior to collection / delivery: we will refund you 50% of the total amount of your order. 

Less than 24hrs prior to collection / delivery will incur full fees as your cake will be well under way. Your cake will be ready for collection at the allocated time or we can chat to arrange something more suitable.

Your admin fee can not be used towards other items.

The admin fee covers our time spent emailing, rescheduling your order, processing your orders, planning and logistics and time processing refunds.

We take orders up to 6-12months in advance for wedding & custom cakes and 4months in advance for celebration cakes.

If you'd like to secure a date and your order it's best to book in advance and pay a deposit as we do book out, particularly during summer/wedding season.
