Bow Bow Beauty Vintage Cake Decorating Workshop - Saturday May 11th
Bow Bow Beauty! In this workshop you will leave having created your very own vintage cake adorned with super-cute bows!
What to expect:
Experiment your heart out and learn all things vintage cakes and bows! A session of learning basic decorating skills, techniques and tying. bows! Then putting to use the skills you've learnt on your very own cake to decorate and then enjoy at home! Snacks, refreshments & fun times all included.

What you'll takeaway:
- 1 x 6 inch chocolate cake with a salted caramel centre (10 dessert portions, 20 coffee portions)
- cake decorating info booklet to jog your memory later
(including supplier discount codes!)
What we'll cover:
- our signature Swiss Meringue buttercream recipe as well as a fews tips and tricks we find useful when constructing cakes & colouring buttercream
- all our favourite tools and where to get them
- how to prep, fill and use piping bags
- Louie will do a piping demo and then you'll get to practice your own piping skills while we guide you along the way
- Louie will guide you step-by-step on how to create her signature Bow Bow beauty vintage cake designs using the skills you've learnt
- how to add the finishing touches to your cake and correctly put cakes in and out of boxes
Please note:
- this a beginners workshop so no prior experience is required, (however any experience level is MORE than welcome - we always love talking all things cake and having interesting conversations with other makers!)
- workshop is non refundable, but can be transferred to another person if you cannot make it
- workshop is subject to cancellation if we do not meet minimum attendees
- this is not a business workshop

Pick up hours:
Monday: CLOSED
Tuesday - Friday: 9-11am OR 2-4:30pm
Saturday: 9-11am ONLY
Sunday: CLOSED
Please note that we are not flexible on these times as we often have deliveries or meetings right before or after these hours.
If you are late or early, we cannot guarantee we can be there and you will need to collect your cake on the next business day.

Delivery Window:
- Timing will depend on availability & delivery route.
- We offer delivery 25km from Carlton. If you are outside this range, email for quote as we cannot guarantee we can service your area. Wedding cakes to be quoted separately.
- Up to 10km: $25
- Up to 20km: $35
Delivery times lots:
Tuesday - Friday: 9-3PM
Saturday: 9-1 PM
Please make sure someone will be home to accept your delivery.
Standard cakes are usually make of 3 layers of cake (+two layers of buttercream) and 4inches in height.
Dessert portions are measured: 2x1x4 inches
Coffee portions are measured: 1x1x4 inches
As a guide, we recommend coffee portions for standup parties and dessert portions if you plan to serve cake as a sit down dessert.
However if you prefer larger portions or leftovers, go for gold! We’re here for it!
